§ 14-21. Notice of violation.

If upon inspection, the building inspector, any village police officer, fire inspector, health officer, president or the county health officer shall find that any property within the village is being used in violation of this chapter, the owner and/or occupant shall be notified of such violation which may be given by certified letter to the owner as he appears on the tax rolls of the village or by service upon the occupant personally by any official of the village or the county health department.
